Big Jig-Heads For Bass

Just spent a some time tying up a few bass bugs. Not a specific fly recipe consulted on any of these flies (as you might be able to tell) just tied up with as much material and as ugly as I could muster.  Rabbit strips, squirrel tail, deer hair, and a touch of flash on all these jigs. Hopefully I can brave the temps soon to test them out. Maybe there will be a winner in there somewhere.

Those are some nice looking jigs. Hope the temps cool off so you are able to get out and test them out. This heatwave is getting old. Tight Lines.

Blake - Its half the fun of fly fishing. the other half is finding out if they work.
Trt Mge - I tried them out the other day and hooked a few bass. Although they are to heavy to toss with a fly rod, they worked great on a spin rod!
Tomek O - I have no idea what you said except 'Super' so I'll take it as a compliment. I liked your blog though and enjoyed the pics.
FWE, Kevin - Thanks for visit and I look forward to following your site. I think the idea of creating a new lure or fly is what draws most of us fanatics to fishing...... That and the drug of the tug.
